I'm Josh, a passionate wedding filmmaker and owner of KOI film co. I love capturing beautiful moments and turning those moments into stories. With your wedding film, nothing is more important than the story.
My story started, as many do, with visions of grandeur and megastardom (on the music stage, for me.) The closest I could get though, was sound engineering college. Audio led me to cinema which eventually sparked my love for storytelling.
Now I choose to tell the beautiful love stories of human beings promising forever.

FAQ
Do you do drone videography?
Drone videography isn't included in any of our packages but can be added to your selected package for an additional fee.
How long are your films normally?
Wedding short films (highlights) run between 4- and 6-minutes depending on the wedding. The ceremony films are almost real-time with only some lulls cut out so your 30-minute ceremony will yield a 30-minute ceremony film. The reception films are also almost real-time with only breaks between speeches and meals cut out.
What are your lead times?
We take great care in crafting our wedding films. This can take between 8-12 weeks and longer in rare cases.
How do you deliver your films?
I will send you a Google Drive link where your films can be downloaded. Please download and store your films in at least two different places as this link won't be active forever.
Do you travel for weddings?
Yup! I would love to travel to your venue be it a game farm in Limpopo or a wine farm in the Cape. If your venue is further than 200km outside of Johannesburg I might require a night's accommodation and two night's accommodation if further than 400km - you want me to be fresh and sharp to capture those fleeting moments of magic!
Do you offer the raw footage?
Raw footage is not included in any of the packages and can be purchased for a fee.
